Shopmeds is an indian epharmacy working in delivering medicines, cosmetics, food products, ayurvedic, surgical products, baby products and over the counter products at your doorsteps.

2. How Works?

Just as any other ecommerce website, shopmeds show all the products mentioned above on the website ( So here is how it works:

Step 1: Place order via Website/Call/Whatsapp or Upload your Valid Prescription

Step 2: Choose Payment Mode ("Cash on Delivery" or "Card Payment" on Delivery, "Pay Online Once Invoice is Generated [No COD Charges and Faster Delivery]", "UPI" or "Wallets").

Step 3: Our Registered Pharmacist validates your order and processes it

Step 4: Order is packed and invoiced (Customer will be notified)

Step 5: Out for Delivery

Step 6: Home Delivered

Step 7: If you have ordered the prescription medicine, then our delivery person will validate the original physical copy of prescription and then only will deliver.

3. Are medicines and other products on genuine?

All medicines and other product sold at are 100% genuine, dispensed by registered pharmacies.

4. Is it legal to sell medicine online?

Shopmeds company or it's website do not buy or sell any medicine itself, Shopmeds is a marketplace where the registered pharmacies (sellers) sell the medicines via shopmeds and those pharmacies have registered license.

5. What is Mode of Payment?

A. Cash On Delivery or Card Payment On Delivery.

B. Pay Online Once Invoice is Generated [No COD Charges and Faster Delivery].


C. Wallets (Mobikwik, PayzApp, PayU, OlaMoney, AirtelMoney, Freecharge or JioMoney).

6. I don't have a prescription. Can I order medicines?

No there are medicines which needs a valid prescription (Prescription medicines are not displayed on website, you need to upload your prescription and we will deliver it after our pharmacist validates and despenses it) and if you don't have one you cannot order those medicines. But you can always order the other non-prescriptive medicines and other products without prescription.

7. The Pharmacy near my house sells medicines without prescription. Why are the rules different here?

It's illegal to sell prescriptive medicines without valid prescription and if anyone does this then it is against the drug department and can face legal problems.

8. Do I get bill of medicines ordered from

In compliance with Drug and Cosmetic Act and Rules, we don't process requests for Schedule X and other habit forming drugs. For Schedule H and H1 drugs, you need to upload a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner.
